This is the machine which, of its type, represents a pure concentration of technology and innovation. The GENESI plasma cutting plant is at the top with regard to quality of cut, simplicity of use, performance and economy. Its command consul – very simple and intuitive, automatic, with the option of manual control – is equipped with a CN which integrates perfectly with the most sophisticated offline system of management, nesting and automatic programming.
The machine is equipped with an automatic cutting torch floating device, a guarantee of maximum efficiency and safety, which maintains the correct distance between the nozzle and the work surface. Thanks to a jet of liquid at high pressure which maintains the surfaces clean at the attachment point and removes the slag, the latest generation CLEAN system allows for increasing the life of the nozzle during break through. The laser pointing system furthermore makes the departure for head positioning very practical and rapid.
The possibility of experiencing damage to the system is nullified, in that each potential collision during the cutting phase is cushioned by the special torch housing which makes the said cutting torch rise up again along its axis in the event of need. Having overcome the obstacle, the cut restarts from the point of interruption thanks to a system of orbital pivots.
Special racks and pinion with recirculating ball screws permit the transmission of power and movement, while recirculating ball roller guides allow for translation. High velocities are permitted, even with RDS screws, thanks to an anti-vibration device. Even in the most challenging working conditions, each component is designed so that it guarantees the best performance.
The discards from the cuts and heavy powders are collected and, on command, discharged into appropriate removable containers. The smoke produced by the cut is eliminated using an efficient and innovative system of aspiration, which allow for a notable saving on power as against more obsolete systems. A special mobile decantation and aspiration hood coupled with a smoke conveying chamber, is a guarantee of the efficiency and cleanliness over time of the tubing and smoke filter. Furthermore, the hood is equipped with suitable stainless steel protection deflectors.
The shape of the work surface grill profiles is designed to guarantee high levels of load capacity and at the same time, a long life. The grills are made up of interchangeable panels which can be turned over, allowing for re-usability in the event of wear.
The intuitive command console CN allows for programming directly onto the machine and executing standard parametric shapes already programmed into it. In off-line GENCUT, the software automatically creates the programming CAM for the machine with evolved possibilities for nesting, parameterization and cutting method.
It is also possible in the cutting machine with a 6 m run, to benefit from advantages deriving from the use of the aspiration hood and of the residue collection container. This because the structure has been designed to have maximum bench rigidity.
